a) Sacculus rotundus (located in the recessus hemispherica).
b) Sacculus oblongus (alceus s. sinus communus). Located in recessus hemiellipticus.
c) Superior semicircular canal.
d) Superior ampulla membranacea.
e) Lateral semicircular canal.
f) Anterior canal membranacea.
g) Posterior semicircular canal.
h) Common opening between the posterior limb of the superior and upper limb of the posterior semicircular canal.
i) Inferior membranous ampulla.
k) First loop of the spiral plate.
l) Second loop of the spiral plate.
m) Third (half) loop of the spiral loop.
n) Hamulus of spiral laminae.
o) Funnel.
p) Zonula bony spiral laminae.
q) Zonula membraneous spiral laminae (s. zona Valsalva).
