One of the privileges of presenting Today is the fascinating conversations you have with some brilliant people. But the conversation that s had me thinking most this week was one with my father as we were walking the dog in the park. You should know my father is a bit deaf.
Me: "Do you think I m too

My father: "Oh yes, definitely."
Me: "Too what?"
My father: "What was the word you used?"
Me: "I didn t. I didn t finish the sentence."
My father: "Well whatever the word was going to be, you are."
I ve been trying out different adjectives all week. None makes me feel good.
