A Master of Science in Applied Science position is available in Intelligent Control for Wind Energy Conversion Systems at Engineering Division, Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada.
Successful M. Sc. candidate will work on the development of Intelligent Controllers for Variable Speed Wind Energy Conversion Systems
The research will be supervised by Dr. Adel Merabet, Mechatronics Laboratory, and co-supervised by Dr. Jogendra S. Thongam, Department of Renewable Energy Systems, STAS Inc. Chicoutimi, QC, Canada
These are challenging research and involve theoretical and experimental work.
The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields with a focus on Energy Systems, Electrical Machines, Control, Power Electronics and Electrical Network.
Experience with MATLAB/SIMULINK is essential.

Successful M. Sc. candidate will work on the development of intelligent controllers for tracking problems in robotics
The research will be supervised by Dr. Adel Merabet, Mechatronics Laboratory. Dr. Merabet’s areas of research include Nonlinear Dynamics and Control, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Energy Systems.
These are challenging research and involve theoretical and experimental work.
The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related fields with a focus on Dynamics, Control, Sensors and Actuators, Robotics.
The candidate must have a strong background in Mathematics, Dynamics and Control.
