Lumbar puncture: CSF: normal glucose level, a total protein count of 131 mg/dL (normal range, 1260 mg/dL), a white blood cell count of 706 cells/mm3 (99% mononuclear cells), and a red blood cell count of 2 cells/mm3. On microscopic examination of the cerebrospinal fluid specimen, no bacteria, acid-fast bacilli, or fungi were seen. หลังเจาะหลัง ผู้ป่วยได้รับ empirical therapy ด้วย intravenous ceftriaxone.
