ชาย 19 ปีมีขาบวมหน้าบวมนาน 3 เดือนและเล็บผิดปกติ ชายอายุ 19 ปี มาตรวจด้วยเรื่องขาบวมและหน้าบวมมานาน 3 เดือน เขาไม่มี orthopnea, paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea, oliguria, hematuria, fever, sore throat, joint pains, rashes, exposure to heavy metals หรือติดยาใดๆ PE: periorbital swelling, pallor, and pedal edema. พบความผิดปกติที่เล็บดังในรูป Systemic examination: unremarkable. Laboratory test: anemia, hypoalbuminemia, hyperlipidemia, and normal renal and liver function tests. Urinalysis: dysmorphic red cells and albuminuria (4+); 24-h urinary protein excretion was 5.10 g.
