This study reported characteristics of centrifuged residue and its generation rate of the latex concentrate industry. Survey of three latex concentrate industries was conducted in Songkhla pro-vince. It was found that the latex concentrate industry generates solid waste in terms of centrifuged residue with the average value of 10.7 kg/ton of raw latex. The centrifuged residue was analyzed for the physical and chemical characteristics. The analytical results shown that centrifuged residue has a potential to use as soil conditioner or fertilizer. It is because of containing many nutrient elements. The average concentrations of N, P and K of centrifuged residue were found to be 2.28, 8.54 and 1.48% dry weight, respectively.
