The Natrathiwat kaolin mainly composed of kaolinite, illite and quartze. Measurement refrac-tance of this specimens revealed that whiteness and brightness were in the range of 83.5-85.8 and 84.9-85.6% respectively, and after heating at 1,200oC, these values were increased 3.5%.
Experimental classification of Mozley hydrocyclone 2 inches method was reported that kaolin which had overflow of -325 mesh had abrasion limit were in the range of 8.3-10.6 milligrams. Igni- tion loss values were obtained by heating specimens at 1,000oC was 13.75%.
The results from the Atterberg limit of kaolin comprised of liquid limit in 50%, plastic limit of 28.81% and shrinkage limit was 25.44%. The calculated result of plasticity index was 20.94%. This values can be correlated in plasticity chart revealed kaolin size falled into silt and inorganic group.
