Four different grades of Acrylonitrile-butadiene latex i.e. Chemigum Latex 550, Nan Tex 63C, Nan Tex 63D and Synthomer were studied for coagulant dipping application. The film thickness from coagulant dipping of Chemigum Latex 550 grade was the lowest. The Nan Tex 63 C grade and Nan Tex 63D grade gave higher tensile strength and Elongation at break value than Synthomer grade and Chemigum Latex 500 grade but the 300% modulus value was inferior. Using Synthomer grade in coagulant dipping, it was found that the amount use of sulphur or zine oxide showed no effect on the film thickness. Physical properties of the resulting film depended upon the amount of sulphur and zine oxide in the latex compound. Using sulphur in amount of 2.5 phr or zine oxide at amount of 2.0-2.5 phr gave the highest tensile strength and 300% modulus value but the lowest Elongation at brake. Tensile strength and 300% modulus value were increased after aging in 100oC for 22 hour but the Elongation at break was dropped after aging.
