The roles of the community development volunteer leaders in development of community economy in the Southern Border Provinces of Thailand

The results of the research are as follow :-
1. Most of the community development volunteer leaders (CDVL) have the knowledge and
the understanding about the community economy development (CED) in the moderate level.
2. The CDVL in each province, gender, age, religion, the family status, the marital status, the level of the education, the nature of the community, occupation, income per month, the saving money per month, social position and period of position have no difference in knowledge and the understanding in the CED.
3. Most of the CDVL play roles in the CED in the moderate level.
4. The CDVL in each province and the nature of community play the different roles, were significant difference at 0.01 and 0.05 level respectively. But the CDVL in each gender, age, religion, the family status, the marital status, the level of the education, occupation, income per month, saving money per month, social position and period of position have no difference in playing roles in the CED.
5. Most of the CDVL were advised and supported by the government officers in the CED in
the moderate level.
6. The CDVL in each province, gender, occupation, saving money per month and period of position were advised and supported by the government officers in the CED, were significant dif-ference at 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, 0.01 and 0.001 respectively. But the CDVL in each age, religion, the family status, the marital status, the level of the education, the nature of the community, income per month
and the social position were advised and supported by the government officers in the CED not differently.
7. Most of the CDVL were advised and supported by the local leaders in the CED in the moderate level.
8. The CDVL in each gender, the family status, the nature of the community and period of position were advised and supported by the local leaders in the CED, were significant difference at
0.05, 0.05, 0.001 and 0.001 respectively. But the CDVL in each province, age, religion, the marital status, the level of the education, occupation, income per month, saving money per month and the
social position were advised and supported by the local leaders in the CED not differently.
9. CDVLÕs attitude in performance in CED are the highest level.
10. The CDVL in each province, gender, age, religion, the family status, marital status, the level of education, nature of the community, occupation, income per month, saving money per month, social position and the period of position have the attitude in performance in CED were found no different.
11. Most of the people and the village government officers have the attitude that the CDVL play roles in the moderate level.
12. The people and the village government officers in each province, gender, age, the family status, marital status, education, nature of community, occupation and income per mouth have the
attitude that the CDVL play roles in CED were significant difference at 0.01, 0.001, 0.01, 0.001,
.001, 0.001, 0.001, 0.001 and 0.001 respectively. But the people and the village government officers in each religion bear no different attitude.
13. The knowledge and understanding about CED, the advice and the supporting by the government officers and the attitude in performance in community economy development have
the positive relation with the roles in CED were significant at 0.05, 0.05 and 0.05 respectively. For the advice and the supporting by the local leaders bear no relation in the roles of CED.
